Nemato Rowing Club started at the end of 2005. It was the very beginning of our organisation. On Youth Day, June 16 2006, we had our official opening by the National Minister of Sport Rev. Stofile and in the same year we won the prestigious Jack Cheetham Award as the best sports development program in South Africa. The club offers a trend setting program with year round rowing and a cybernetic training program using single sculls.
