Nemato Change a Life - youth empowerment

Nemato Change a Life empowers youth in Nelson Mandela Township. We want to change the mindset, improve the skills and knowledge, and guide all our members individually in education and career to become successful in life.

We focus in our holistic empowerment programme on:

Nemato Sports

We offer four small Olympic sports that were not available in our township communities. Our athletes compete at least at provincial level, many at national level and we also have athletes competing at international top level. The four sports clubs are independent, but are affiliated to the Nemato Change a Life empowerment programme.

Matinyana Bursary Fund

The Matinyana Bursary Fund is based in the Netherlands and supports disadvantaged students from Nelson Mandela Township with financial support and guidance. Nemato Change a Life runs the South African office for the fund.
